Meet Mothman, a brave and social foster cat with a personality as big as his namesake! Just like the legend, Mothman knows how to make an entrance with his gorgeous black long locks and a meow that’s just as bold and unforgettable. He is a big boy with a high-pitched “meeeeeeow” comes with a squinty-eyed greeting and a whole lot of charm which is hard to resist

Mothman is a sweet, gentle, loving, and chill boy who loves the company of his people. He can often be found sunbathing on his favorite kitty tree or window watching, snoozing on the couch, or waiting for bedtime. Mothey is a velcro cat and loves to be with his people, he will politely demand pets by grabbing your hand or pawing at your arm and he loves to gentle head butts. He makes a wonderful work from home buddy and will happily join any virtual meeting you may have.

Before joining rescue, Mothman spent the first part of his life living outdoors on a farm, where he was tough enough to survive on his own. But when he needed medical care, he found his way into rescue, where he received the treatment he needed and quickly adapted to the luxuries of indoor living. Now, Mothey is in great health after dental care and loving his new life indoors.
He is ready to find a forever home where he can share his big personality and rockstar MEEEEEOWS with a family who adores him!

Mothman does well with other cats and dogs who are friendly, calm, and mature. He would do best in a calm home as a solo cat or a couple of other animals, where he can get lots of companionship from his owner. He likes to play a little bit with catnip toys, jingle and crinkle balls, and kicker toys. With long hair he benefits from routine brushing and does enjoy it 🙂
