All About Me

small for a boy, big boy jowls, beautiful markings

Paladin survived on his own until he had a lucky day when he came upon a farm where the kindly residents took him in and had him seen by a vet. He got neutered and had a few battle injuries taken care of. He quickly communicated that he did NOT want to live outdoors and instead wanted to live the life of luxury indoors and preferably in your bed, under the covers.

He is talkative, very affectionate and very happy to have a life indoors. 'Paladin' means a knight renowned for heroism and chivalry. Well, this Paladin has certainly seen a few battles. During one of them he contracted FIV, which is an immune virus in cats that can't be given to people or other non-cat animals. It can only be given to other cats through deep bite wounds and Paladin's fighting days are OVER. The virus can't be spread through casual contact like sharing litterboxes or food dishes or through snuggling or playing. FIV cats most often live long, healthy, and relatively normal lives with no symptoms at all. Paladin is living in his foster home with many other cats and 2 weenie dogs.
