Ruru is a classic Mackerel tabby boy with a grey and black striped coat.

Ruru is one of four newborn kittens rescued with nursing mom Kiwi. The Kiwi Kittens were fostered with their mom until they weaned, and now they’re healthy and independent and ready for their forever homes.<br />Ruru is the Maori name for the Tasmanian spotted owl. We call Ruru our "wise owl"--more cautious than his three siblings, he tends to hang back and observe before trying new experiences.<br />Ruru does great with the dogs, young adult cats, and teenagers in his foster home. He and brother Kea are a bonded pair and they hope to find a loving home together.
