Frito is a roly-poly orange and white tabby boy with a white nose. Judging by the fluff around his ears, he seems likely to grow into a medium haired kitty.

Frito and his sister Cupcake are the survivors of an orphaned litter rescued from a local shelter at age 2 weeks. Miraculously, these two little fighters survived feline panleukopenia virus (FPV), a vaccine-preventable disease that is usually fatal to young kittens. Our fabulous bottle feeder nursed them back to health, and today they are robust, playful, and ready for their forever homes.<p>Because of his early exposure to FPV, Frito has a mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia, or "wobbly kitten syndrome." While he will always have an adorable, wobbly gait (the phrase "drunk sailor" has been used a time or two), he’s still able to keep up with his sister and navigate stairs and the litter box with ease. Our vet says he will have a normal quality of life and lifespan. <p>Like most bottle babies, Frito is VERY sociable and bonded to his human caregivers. He loves to snuggle down in your lap or the crook of an arm for a catnap. He also is absolutely fearless with the older cats, energetic black labs, and kids in his foster home. Frito and his sister Cupcake are a bonded sibling pair who need to find a loving home together.
