All About Me

Jack has glossy black fur and adoring eyes. He looks at everyone as if he loves them.

Jack and his siblings were born on the front porch of a house in Durham. The homeowner subsequently fed and cared for their feral mom until the kittens were weaned and placed in an IAR foster home. Having been handled and exposed to people from birth, Jack was already socialized by the time he became part of the IAR foster family but he has become even more friendly and loving since then. He is an extremely sweet boy who has a wonderfully calm but confident personality for a kitten so young. In fact, he sometimes acts like he has an “old soul” in a tiny body. When he first meets someone new, Jack will sit and stare up at you as if he’s assessing you, but will then run to you for cuddles or treats. <p> Although he is healthy and playful, he is also content to entertain himself and play on his own when his companions get too rowdy. Jack has a new buddy in his foster home, Gus who is a couple of weeks younger than Jack but they are ideal playmates and have quickly become bonded like brothers. Jack is an adorable kitten who will steal your heart and make a wonderful addition to any household.
