All About Me

Poppy is one of those compact kittens with a tiny face and short, chunky legs. She's a grey tabby, but has facial markings that remind her foster family of a baby cheetah's. Her fur is short, but thick and soft like a bunny!

Poppy is a precious soul that loves nothing more than to give headbutts, purrs, and kisses. Her purr box starts up the second she is touched! As affectionate and sweet as she can be, she is also full of fun, playful energy. She can be comical in her antics, but isn't very graceful (getting on the bed sometimes takes more than one attempt). She's proven to be resilient, bouncing right back when a first jump has failed. She gets along fine with the polite dogs in the household; puffing up at first, then curious about meeting them. She is kept with two other adult cats and seems to get along well with them. She can sometimes get a little too excited during play, so any cats in her new home need to able to tolerate her baby behaviors. Poppy is a new foster, so we're still learning about her, but overall, she's an absolute delight!

History

Poppy's foster mom was called early one Saturday in December when a local resident in Timberlake spotted Poppy alone in a small parking lot. She was extremely social, trying to climb into people's cars and follow them into the store.
