All About Me

Lotus is a thinly built kitty with a long, sleek body and black splotches against a white background

Lotus is a busy kitten, always looking for her next adventure! Her favorite past time is chasing her pom pom balls around the house or playing keep-away by grabbing it and dashing out of reach. When she finally runs out of energy, she turns into a sweet ball of nuzzles and purrs. When her foster mom gets home, she gets so excited with greeting meows and purrs. She begs to be picked up, cuddled, and gives her mom kisses to tell her how much she missed her. She is a bold little girl and gets used to new things rather quickly, including dogs. She's well behaved and listens when her mom tells her "eh-eh". She can be intense in her play with others so any kitten/cat that becomes her new friend must possess a confident personality and the ability to hold their ground for tag and rough housing. Due to her energy level, it is recommended that she goes to a home with another young cat or kitten and older children only. She'd thrive in one that can devote time for daily play sessions.

History

Lotus was the kitten whose rescue video was posted on IAR's Facebook page in October. She was found all alone in a storm drain in S. Durham, crying for someone to help her. Her rescue is pictured in the image above. It was a real adventure, and now she's ready for her next adventure: finding her new home.
