All About Me

Cooper is a light orange tabby boy with brown eyes, medium length fur, and large ear tufts and toe tufts. He has a puffy plume tail and knows how to show it off. He is still filling in and looks like he will become a gentle giant.

Cooper is all that an orange Maine Coon mix should be! Big feet, big personality. Cooper is a wonderful companion. He loves to snuggle, often on his back with paws up. He gives vigorous head butts and likes licking the face of his sister and his people. Cooper is a big, physical kitty and he plays with a rough edge when he gets wound up. For this reason he might not be a good fit for families with small kids. He needs a cat-savvy person who can and will make time for him. His ideal home would be an active household, or one where active kitties are appreciated, to share with his sister Phebes. Cooper is healthy and happy and ready to find that new home!

History

Cooper and his sister Phoebe appeared in one of our feral cat colonies in Durham at about 7-8 weeks of age. They were adopted out in early 2015 and recently came back to IAR through no fault of their own.
