All About Me

Holly is affectionately known as a cow kitten. Her fluffy white and black spots are hard to resist. We have no way of knowing whether she is a Maine Coon, but her fluffy coat and sweet personality reminds us of one. See more pictures of Holly and her friends at http://picasaweb.google.com/fosterkits/Winter2010#.

Holly is an incredible kitten. She is playful and purry, and she immediately formed a close bond with her foster parents and her new foster kitten friends. We can not imagine how she made her way outside where we found her because within 24 hours of walking into our trap, Holly was perching on our shoulders purring and pressing the top of her head into our cheeks. She has very good manners, but her high energy level would do best in a house with another kitten.

History

The UNC Biology department discovered Holly one day playing on the sidewalk outside. Holly spent that day taunting us with her antics before scooting just out of reach. Late that night after the pedestrian traffic slowed down, we played with Holly right into our trap. This playful and purry girl is very happy to be back inside where it is safe and warm.
