"Big" is a black male with a huge head (the result of being neutered as an adult) and tattered ears. He has a small white patch on his neck and flecks of white in his coat.
So you're looking for someone to watch over you? Well I'm your man - they don't call me BIG for nothing! I will protect, cherish and love you (just don't tell anybody that I'm really a total mush at heart) Despite my rough and tumble appearance, I am one of the nicest cats you'll meet. I even get up to walk with the elderly gnetlemen in my foster home to make sure he stays safe. My foster Mom thinks that's sweet...pshaw. Don't blow my cover but I'm a quiet, low-key cat with a BIG heart. I love to be near people and will lay on your lap. I am polite and friendly with other cats and I like to play and chase with them. Can I come live and play at your house too? To visit me, you'll have to come to my foster home though cause I run to the beat "Don't Fence Me In" - I don't like being crated! Come on and check me out...you'll be glad you did.....

We do not know anything about Big Man's early years, but he must have been treated kindly by people because he is so friendly now. Big had spent some time living with a feral colony where he was trapped and neutered. His left ear has been tipped to show he was a fixed, homeless cat. Big somehow made his way to a local shelter where he became sick and was unable to eat because of congestion. Everyone who met him realized that he was a nice cat who had been through a lot and deserved a chance to experience a loving, indoor home. Big is now ready to go to his forever home and permanently retire from his hard life on the streets.
