All About Me

Cassidy is a petite little cat who looks bigger than her 6 pounds because she is all fluff. Cassidy is a long-haired dilute tortoiseshell, with a taffy-colored ruff around her neck and beautiful soft fur - her coat does not require much maintenance, but she loves to be brushed when time allows, and even rolls on her back so you can get her underside.

Cassidy is all that a little tortoiseshell cat should be. She is affectionate, playful, and a bit spicy. She loves a laser pointer, and anything with feathers. She and her sister were adopted as young kittens and were returned to IAR this winter after two years. Their former adopter thought she and her sister Cameo needed more space than her small apartment offered, but this does not seem to be the case. Cassidy is happy and comfortable in whatever space she has as long as it comes with a window perch, a place to nap, toys, and love. Cassidy likes to be with her people, but not on top of them (although she will curl up beside them in bed or chair), and is an undemanding companion for a person who would like cats close by. She is litter trained, spayed, and all ready to be adopted by her forever person.

History

Cassidy and her sister Cameo were rescued at about 10 weeks of age and have been indoors ever since. They were in an adoptive home for two years before being returned to IAR this year, through no fault of their own.
