All About Me

Spike is a sweet-faced white kitty a smudge of grey on top of his head.

Spike's foster mom enjoys the irony of a name that just doesn't fit. To her the name Spike conjures the image of a feisty dog, and this Spike just coudn't be more different. Spike is a cuddly boy who starts purring at the mere sound of his foster mom's voice. His absolute favorite activity is to curl up by his foster mom's side (or in her armpit!) and kneed her belly like he's making bread dough. Soon he's out for the count, and it's hard to imagine anything cuter. Spike absolutely LOVES other cats. During his first months in foster care, he was inseperable from a lovely black kitty named Brenna (shown in Spike's face picture). Poor Brenna was left in the dust, though, the minute baby Hugh arrived. Spike and Hugh are pictured here sharing a rare moment napping. They are far more often to be found chasing their furry mice toys, or engaging in a wrestling match. [Click here for a slideshow of Spike and Hugh pictures]

History

Spike and his brothers were found outside in a dumpster! We were a bit puzzled that someone could confuse these sweet kitties for garbage, so we brought them into foster care where they've made themselves right at home.
