Tommy is a soft gray tabby kitty, whose fur still has that kitten fuzziness. He has lovely green eyes.
Tommy is an endearing young cat, a combination of silliness, feistiness, curiosity and sweetness. He is very playful and loves to wrestle, chase and pounce on the other cats in his foster home. When he's ready to settle down, he will curl up on the cat tree and watch the birds and squirrels outside. He has a quiet, low-key personality with humans and other cats, but has been able to charm the most stand-offish adult cat in his foster home into playing with him. Because he lived outside for the first 5-6 months of his life, Tommy didn't know how to play with toys. But he has learned quickly and is now chasing catnip mice all around the house! Tommy will do best in a quiet household with gentle and loving handling.

Tommy was found living outside a motel on Highway 85. The manager of the motel fed him and let him stay inside at night, but Tommy had to go outside during the day. The manager worried about his safety living by the busy road. Tommy was also so friendly he would follow guests into their rooms and workmen into their trucks. The manager was afraid that Tommy would follow someone who might not be so nice to him. Tommy was rescued, has settled into his foster home and is now looking for his safe, indoor forever home.
