Bessie is mostly white with some black patches. Her fur is incredibly soft and silky. Bessie is very slight of build and has a delicate appearance.
Itty bitty petite Bessie is the epitome of a little lady. Bessie's favorite things are being cuddly, snuggly and being cozy. Her favorite place is her special Marley's cushioned kitty tent, where she nestles in. Bessie is gentle and as sweet as they come. Bessie is a homebody (not a roamer!) so she would do just fine in a smaller house or apartment. Bessie does great with other cats, but would probably prefer not to have dogs around (she thinks they can be such brutes!) I am a shy girl who longs to find just the right human to call my own, one who is looking for a quiet, loyal companion. My foster mom has finally discovered that I am crazy to be brushed and can't help making the LOUDest purr when she does it. I don't have a mean or aggressive bone in my body. If you ask her, she will tell you that I am a 100% Sweet Girl who is also coyly shy. Bessie is ready for her own forever home. Please open your heart to this very sweet girl! Bessie is FIV/FeLV negative and litterbox trained.

Bessie was living at a local animal shelter, but her time was coming to a close, due to huge numbers of kittens coming in and lack of cage space. The day we pulled Bessie, we could only take one cat and it was hard to decide which one. A great kid was there at the shelter that day with his family, and he advocated hard for Bessie, saying that of all the cats he met, she was one of the sweetest and most gentle and went from lap to lap. How could we say no? Now she is waiting for you!
