Scout has a very round head, like a macintosh apple, and she has the face of a snowman on her back.

Scout is a survivor! Just like her namesake in To Kill a Mockingbird. A member of the community noticed a litter of kittens in her barn and reached out to us for help. We advised that she let the mom keep nursing them for a few more weeks, before they were brought into the foster program. However, for some reason, Scout fell behind and wasn't being cared for by the Mom. So we got her to a bottle feeder and she quickly gained weight and grew to be quite pudgy! She now lives with her 'brother from another mother', Alfie. She is extremely affectionate, and very brave. She has the most amazing markings on her back- like the grinning charcoal face of a snowman. She must be adopted with her brother Alfie- seen with her in a picture together. Alfie and Scout are being raised with dogs and play regularly with the neighborhood children. They are ready for a home of their own!
