Anise was found dodging cars in a grocery store parking lot. After she was rescued, she quickly warmed up to the idea of regular meals and human companionship and has proved herself to be quite a charmer. An independent lady, once she gets to know you she is quite the attention hog, announcing her desires with not meows, but adorable chirps. <p>Anise loves long naps in the sun and ear scratches when you lie in bed. She prefers to make her own way to where she needs to go, but she will permit you to pick her up. She looks forward to lots of treats and a loving home.
