Entry Title: Josephine
Description:
Josephine is a calico kitty who used to be a wicker stool. As an example of “trompe l’oeil,” from a distance she may still look like a stool. But when you get close, stool becomes kitty, right down to her claws and foot pads.
Jo-C Gaston is an area artist, and did the painting on this shared project. Valerie Clack, an IAR volunteer, is a crafter who added the papier-mache kitty parts.
