Bruiser

  • Animal Name: Bruiser
  • Listing Date: 08/15/2017
  • Date of Birth: 14 yrs old
  • Weight: 12 lbs
  • Breed: British Medium Hair
  • Physical Description: Ginger tabby with a white chin and white underbelly; tiger yellow eyes
  • Personality Description: Bruiser loves the heat and can always be found in a sunny spot looking gorgeous. However, he can also get playful and enjoys chasing ribbons. He is smart - when he feels like going outside he waits by the door! While he is a clean and affectionate cat he prefers a good brush to being picked up. Aging means his joints are no longer young but jumping onto the sofa is not a problem. However, Bruiser’s heart is not as strong as before so he is best suited to a peaceful (stress-free) home as he doesn’t like loud or sudden noises. He is not suited to homes with dogs.
  • Spayed/Neutered: yes
  • Vaccinations: Up to date, including rabies inoculation
  • Animal History: Bruiser and his sister were rescued by us when they were 6 months old. Our family grew up around our cats. We moved to the US with the intention to stay but circumstances have changed unexpectedly and our beloved cats would be too stressed to survive another long flight. We need a forever home where they will be cared for, pampered and loved for the rest of their days. Can you please help us ASAP?

She is not an attention-seeker but after waking up she loves to be fussed over. At 14 years Temple is best suited to a tranquil stress-free and dog-free home. She is a very playful kitty — chasing ribbons is her favorite sport, and she enjoys a gentle brushing. Temple is a big fan of cardboard boxes and dark closets. She prefers gentle kisses, cuddles, tickles and rubs to being picked up. She is fiercely loyal and likes to sleep near her humans and greet them at the front door when they come home.

Sadie Grace

  • Animal Name: Sadie Grace
  • Listing Date: 07/12/2017
  • Date of Birth: 7/30/2012
  • Weight: ~25 lbs
  • Breed: Beagle
  • Physical Description: Lemon
  • Personality Description: Sadie is a four, almost five, year old female beagle. She is loves to snuggle and have belly rubs. She loves to go on walks, but doesn't like other dogs. She has spent most of her life as an indoor/ outdoor dog until the last year when she became an outdoor dog only. She would prefer being an indoor dog. She loves being around people. She's very friendly with adults and kids. She obeys basic verbal commands such as come, sit, stay, and roll over. She LOVES food.
  • Spayed/Neutered: yes
  • Vaccinations: up to date
  • Animal History: Sadie has never gotten along with other dogs very well, especially dogs that are bigger than her. While in the backyard or when being walked she frequently barks at dogs passing by. Over the last six months Sadie has become aggressive with her beagle "sister," which is why she needs a new home. Other than her sister, she has bitten one other dog - but neither dog was injured (skin was not broken). Sadie is territorial with food and her kennel with other dogs - she has not shown signs of aggression towards people with either of these issues. Sadie would thrive in a home where there were no other dogs, or with someone who was willing to invest heavily into her rehabilitation.
