Physical Description: Lolli is mostly white with some big black spots. She's long and lean and has the sweetest face.
Personality: Lolli (aka Lollipup) is a wonderfully sweet and loyal girl who loves quality time with her people. She learns quickly and has a few tricks up her sleeve, like Sit and Paw. She can be a little timid when meeting new people but she warms up in no time. She's energetic but not hyperactive - she'd probably love lots of outdoor activity but she'll also be happy to cozy up indoors. She's gentle and kind and never chases or acts aggressive toward her kitty siblings in her foster home.
History: Lolli was rescued when her caretaker became disabled.
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Cats: Yes
Good with Young Kids: Unknown
Good with Older Kids: Yes
Health Information: Lolli is spayed and she's receiving her vaccinations. She came into IAR with a skin inflammation that hasn't been definitively diagnosed, but the vet thinks it's due to an allergy. It has caused her to have patchy spots and dry, inflamed skin (though in her short time in foster care it has already healed quite a bit). She's currently eating a high-quality food designed for dogs with allergies. The vet thinks she'll fully recover, so she needs a home where her treatment will be continued until she's all better.
IAR Sponsored Training: IAR subsidizes post-adoption professional training with Jane Marshall (www.cheerydogs.com) to encourage a life-long and successful bond between the dog and the adopter. Group classes for puppies and adult dogs are provided at a substantial discount to IAR adopters.
