Physical Description: Ellie-Mae is lean with soft black eyes, a black and tan face with some white around her mouth, and a white chest patch.
Personality: Ellie-Mae is SUPER SWEET. Her breeds appear to be Black Lab and Bluetick Coonhound. This little girl is docile, affectionate and gentle. She enjoys running around outside with her foster family. Ellie-Mae is a licker and likes to stay close on walks. She also enjoys car rides and sits down right away on the seat with her head on your arm. She has been calm at all of our public outings. And what a runner! She can already easily outrun me for short bursts (and I’m fast!). A water dog, she loves swimming and flopping around and even chomping on hose water as it comes out. She is super calm around our two cats! Ellie-Mae is crate-trained, doing well with potty training, and sleeps through the night. She is just a sweetheart. Ellie-Mae will make a wonderful addition to any home with the time, attention and patience necessary to raise a puppy.
History: Ellie-Mae came to IAR through a rural shelter. Her brother and sister are also IAR foster dogs.
