Physical Description: Tachi is a sleek and slender beauty. She has short, silky, low-shedding, chocolate-colored fur with a white bib and white toe tips as accessories. She has a long nose and eyes that match the color of her fur.

Personality: I love Tachi. After only a couple of weeks, she is already fitting in so nicely to our household. She plays great with my other dogs and really seems to understand doggy social cues. Graceful and athletic in her movements, she is a joy to watch. She is crate trained and housetrained. Tachi is super-smart and knows her basic commands. She is engaged with the people around her and does what we ask her to do. Tachi is wonderful indoors, and settles down easily to chew her toys or cuddle. I give her kisses and hugs and she leans into it. I look forward to our snuggle time together because she is so affectionate and loving.

Tachi would do best in an active home where she can get lots of outdoor time. I love to watch her play ball and run with my other foster dog, Red. The two of them are best buds! We have a pond in our backyard and Tachi is quite the water dog. She runs through the water with such glee and is a blast to have around. She is always looking to have fun with people and dogs.

Tachi will bring love and companionship along with lots of laughter and fun to whomever is lucky enough to add her to their family.

History: Tachi was found as a stray in a rural county and spent several months in boarding before IAR brought her into our foster program.
