Physical Description: Miss Molly has a very expressive face with bright eyes and a big smile. Her coat and sweet floppy ears are very soft like velvet. Her coat is mostly chestnut brown with cool tiger-like stripes on her back and sides. The very tip of her tail looks like it was dipped in white paint. She also has white on her chest, paws, and face, with the sweetest little freckles on her nose.

Personality: Miss Molly is a cheerful go-getter who loves to play! She is full of energy and is happy to entertain herself by playing independently or romping around with other dogs. She more than holds her own while wrestling with her foster brother, who’s twice her size! Her enthusiastic play style may be overwhelming though for smaller or older dogs whose personalities are more low-key.

Miss Molly has a big puppy personality in a medium-sized package, and is very entertaining with her silly antics. She has a wonderful excitement for life and loves attention from people. After getting her energy out, she will settle down to chew a bone or toy, or sit with us on the couch to be petted. She is crate trained and housetrained, and generously shares her toys.

Miss Molly enjoys being outside. We would definitely say that chasing squirrels, birds, and even bugs, are some of her hobbies. She also enjoys playing fetch and has fun trying to "catch" the water from the garden hose! Sometimes she is shy meeting people outside of our home, but she warms up quickly. She is very smart and has been quick to learn basic commands. She knows "sit" and "wait" and is doing great with her leash walk training. Outings for continued socialization would be wonderful for her, and a great way to bond with her new family. Miss Molly is an awesome girl, and we love being part of her adoption journey!

History: Miss Molly was found by a Good Samaritan and came into the IAR program with a broken leg.

Health Information: Miss Molly is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed. Because she loves to be active, she is currently on meds to help with continued healing for her leg and is also scheduled for some laser-therapy appointments. Her leg has healed nicely, but she may always have a slight limp.

IAR Sponsored Training: IAR subsidizes post-adoption professional training with Jane Marshall (www.cheerydogs.com) to encourage a life-long and successful bond between the dog and the adopter. Group classes for puppies and adult dogs are provided at a substantial discount to IAR adopters.
