Physical Description: Peanut Butter has a beautiful black, shiny coat; a white chest and some white toes; floppy ears and lanky legs; and big brown loving eyes.

Personality: Just like his namesake, Peanut Butter is better when paired with something. . . and that something could be you! "PB" is a very healthy, beautiful, sweet, and playful pup. He's definitely a snuggler! Having lived indoors as a treasured pet all his life, you can tell that he's been well cared for. PB is full of energy and loves running around in circles with his fellow rescue-mate, Ole Blue - challenging Blue to try to catch him!

PB has shown a high level of intelligence when receiving instructions. He's learning his leash manners, and with a little more time, we expect he will be able to perform any number of commands - and might even be a good candidate for something like agility training.

PB has had a rough go of it here recently. And although he is already showing signs of bouncing back, he will need a loving, caring family to help heal his heartbreak. PB is looking forward to meeting you!

History: Peanut Butter was taken to a rural shelter when his owner had to move into as assisted living facility, and kept in an outside kennel due to overcrowding. He was rescued when the temperatures were due to drop well below freezing.
