Physical Description: Frederick is a small, energetic Chihuahua/Min-Pin mix.
Personality: Frederick is a playful and funny little guy with a lot of love to give. He adores running in the yard, and will spin with joy when he's excited. He also likes to cuddle, and will settle on your lap while watching TV or hanging out at home. A high-energy dog, Frederick needs substantial walks and playtime. Like many small dogs, he has a tendency to become obsessively devoted to his person. So he'll need an experienced adopter who knows how to guide him to calm, nonterritorial behavior. Since coming into foster care, Frederick has begun to learn "Sit" and "Wait," and is learning to share attention with the resident dog. He would do best in a home where he could get a lot of attention and exercise, and where he's either an only dog or where other resident dogs are a good fit with his personality. Frederick would fine with children 12+ years old. A great companion, Frederick is animated and lively. He bounces with enthusiasm, and enjoys being around his family and playing chase with dogs.
History: Frederick's former owner is disabled and wanted someone else to adopt him, as she could no longer look after him properly.
