Physical Description: Honey Dew is a Labrador/Golden Retriever mix—yellowish-white with white markings. She has such a pretty and elegant face, with beautiful eyelashes that anybody would be jealous of!
Personality: Honey Dew is a very sweet lady who is on the shyer side. But just give her a little bit of time to get to know you, and she quickly warms up! And sometimes she immediately feels safe and loving toward people: Check out the video below to see how wonderful she was with a woman and a 12-year-old child she'd never even seen before!
Honey likes to be around gentle humans, and would do best as an only dog. She loves cuddling on the couch, but also happily goes into her crate on her own to hang out for a snooze when the door is open.
Honey loves to walk and is quickly learning her leash manners. A very good girl, she can always be counted on to respond quickly to Come, Wait, and Sit. Honey enjoys riding in the car, checking out the world around her or settling down for a nap. With her energy level, she absolutely belies her age, and would very much appreciate a fenced yard.
History: Honey Dew came to us from a local shelter, along with her sister, Cinnamon Toast.
