Physical Description: Rocky V is mostly black with a black face mask, brown around his face and paws, and a white chest. He has quite a few extra pounds that he's working on shedding--but hey, that just means there is so much more of him to love!

Personality: Rocky V is the best dog ever! Everyone who meets him falls in love with him. He is SO sweet, sweet, sweet. And he is so joyful! Rocky V is rarely without a big smile on his face. Always ready to go for a walk to stretch his little legs, he even skips with joy, and trots as fast as his little legs will let him!

Although he is just fine with children, it would likely be best if he didn't live with them. Rocky V is good with little dogs, and loves his buddy Rambo, whom he lived with before coming into IAR and is living with in his foster home.

He loves to follow you around the house and then sit by your side. Rocky V will happily greet you at the door and will let you know if someone is visiting or just passing by. A cuddlebug, Rocky V makes a great TV and bed buddy, too (near you or under the covers). He easily adjusted to his foster home and was quick to show that he is housetrained. Rocky V listens, and sits and stays on command. As one might guess, Rocky V loves to eat, but enjoys his new diet, and is steadily losing weight!

History: Rocky V was surrendered--along with Rambo, Sprocket, and two other Chihuahuas (one of whom was adopted by an IAR foster mom!)--at a rural shelter.
