Physical Description: Piper Longstocking’s coat is a rich chestnut brown with lots of white—around her nose, on her chin and chest, and her legs. She has long white knee socks on her front legs, a long snout, amber eyes, and a pink nose.
Personality: Piper Longstocking is a sweetie who loves people, playing with other dogs, her knuckle bones, and especially belly rubs. She is crate trained, housebroken, good on a leash, and behaves very well around the house. Very cuddly, the first night she spent at my house, she jumped on the bed and put her head next to mine! Piper likes to sit on visitors’ laps if they’ll let her. On the street she is occasionally startled by passing runners and may bark. I’ve been fostering both her and Bishop, and they get along great! She rules the bed, and tells him where he is to sleep.
History: Piper Longstocking came to us from a rural shelter.
