Physical Description: Hiram has a beautiful, soft brindle coat of black and a light sandy brown. He is lean and muscular, with rather dainty paws.

Personality: Hiram seems to have a genuine, deep affection for his humans. He is very sweet and loves to snuggle up in your lap and get as close as he can. Hiram seems quite loyal, is 100% house-trained, knows a few commands, and can no doubt learn many more. He is eager to please and will happily stay by your side in the car or on the trail.

He has a gentle and tentative manner with people, and his kisses are not too sloppy. He loves to run laps around the yard with my younger, male dog; but is also happy to just lounge around and give gentle kisses to my older, less-playful dog. He will make a wonderful addition to just about any home.

History: Hiram came from a local shelter.
