Physical Description: Ziggy is a hunky meatball with a beautiful brindle coat, white chest, white around his nose and some white on his toes. He's a muscley guy with cute perky ears and sweet chestnut eyes.
Personality: Looking for an adventure buddy? Ziggy is your guy. Ziggy is an enthusiastic, fun-loving dog. He loves making friends and his tail is always wagging. Ziggy loves walks, hikes, car rides, all kinds of toys and he can even play fetch with himself. He's a great running buddy too! Once he's had his fun for the day, though, he's more than happy to be your little spoon, especially if you don't mind a little snoring. He is easy and calm around the house and just wants to be near his people, whether that is snuggled on the couch or enjoying a warm sunny spot on the carpet.
Not to fall into the beefcake stereotype, Ziggy is a smart dog and loves learning. He eats his meals out of a puzzle toy, is very food-motivated, and loves learning new skills. He'll do almost anything for a tasty treat and works hard to please. He would love a family interested in continuing his training.
Ziggy is crate-trained, housebroken, knows basic commands, and is working on his leash manners. He would do best with older kids or no kids at all, simply because he is a big guy who doesn't always know his own strength. Ziggy loves to play with other dogs but his exuberance may be too much for lower-key dogs. Ziggy would prefer a house with a fenced yard. He's a hunk of love just waiting for the perfect forever home!
