Physical Description: Ziggy is a hunky meatball with a beautiful brindle coat, white chest, white around his nose and some white on his toes. He's a muscley guy with cute perky ears and sweet chestnut eyes.
Personality: Ziggy is a sweet, enthusiastic, fun-loving dog. He loves making friends and his tail is always wagging. Ziggy loves being outside, car rides, all kinds of toys—and he can even play fetch with himself! Once he's had his fun for the day, though, he's more than happy to be your little spoon, especially if you don't mind a little snoring.
Ziggy is easy and calm around the house, and just wants to be near his people . . . whether that is snuggling on the couch or enjoying a sunny spot on the carpet. Ziggy is happiest when he has a regular routine and gets to spend lots of time with his family.
Not to fall into the beefcake stereotype, Ziggy is a smart dog and loves learning. He eats his meals out of a puzzle toy, is very food-motivated, and loves learning new skills. He'll do almost anything for a tasty treat and works hard to please. He would love a family interested in continuing his learning.
Ziggy is crate-trained, housebroken, knows basic commands, and is working on his leash manners. He would do best with older kids or no kids at all, simply because he is a big guy who doesn't always know his own strength. Ziggy loves to play with other dogs but prefers just one playmate at a time, and isn't a dog park dog. Ziggy would prefer a house with a fenced yard. He's a hunk of love just waiting for the perfect forever home!
