Physical Description: Red is a stunning, red-nosed Staffordshire Bull terrier. He has sleek, short red fur.
Personality: Red is a WONDERFUL dog. He is incredibly well-trained and follows commands without question. He is a super-sweet companion who is great with people of all ages. You can't tell from the photos, but he is actually a smaller guy. He is a joy to have around.
Red loves to run and play like a puppy; but when it comes to snuggling he settles right down. Red is 100% housetrained and crate trained. He does well meeting dogs when done with a slow introduction. He instantly responds to all the commands he knows including Come, Sit, Down, Stay, Leave it, This way, With me. Red is quiet and well behaved indoors. He is affectionate without being needy. He wants to please. Outside, Red is more of a "hike in the woods" than a "stroll in the neighborhood" kind of dog. He is great on the leash unless there is lots of other stimulation around. Red needs opportunities to run. He would do best in a household with a fenced yard and active owners. He is a physical, athletic dog who thrives on adventures. He will leap into the air to catch a ball off the bounce. He meets new experiences with enthusiasm and curiosity. Red will return any love he is given tenfold, and will be a loyal and loving companion.
History: Red was rescued from death row from a rural shelter.
