All About Me

Reno is a stunningly handsome 50 pound Boxer mix with a rich chocolate coat.

Meet Reno! Reno loves to cuddle and plop down with the family at the end of the day. He has a look of pure bliss when you rub his belly, and is happy just to have his head by your feet. He's always excited to see new folks, but settles down quickly.

Reno adores people of all ages but is a little scared by loud noises so sometimes small children can be intimidating to him. Reno really enjoys the company of most other dogs - he's thrilled to be bossed around by our 35lb foster pup and generally a pretty submissive guy.

Inside the house Reno is well-behaved and potty trained. He is eager to find a forever family to adore!

History

Poor Reno was found wandering on the road, and brought to a local shelter. He was there for almost a month, running out of time, and needed some love - he's much happier now that he's with Independent Animal Rescue!

IAR Sponsored Training

IAR subsidizes post-adoption professional training with Jane Marshall (www.cheerydogs.com) to encourage a life-long and successful bond between the dog and the adopter. Group classes for puppies and adult dogs are provided at a substantial discount to IAR adopters.
