Physical Description: Gonzo is tan/fawn colored with black around his snout.
Personality: Dr. Gonzo, or Gonzo for short, is a Husky-Shepard mix begging for direction. He has come a long way since joining IAR. Gonzo has a sweet, gentle disposition with a shy personality. His initial shy personality comes from a lack of human socialization/interaction as a pup. With each new person he meets, his shyness becomes a thing of the past and he just wants to be loved on. The "Doctor" is very well behaved around other dogs of all sizes, enjoys touching noses with cats, and does great with children. Gonzo has very nice house manners, as he is not destructive and is housebroken. He enjoys nice long walks (he is leash trained) and loves to run. He would do great in a house with other animals, but also as a solo pet. Gonzo is waiting for his forever home!
History: Gonzo and his brothers were dropped off at a rescuer's house, who held them for eight months. These great dogs could not be provided for by the rescuer so in comes IAR to the rescue! All three were adopted a year ago, but recently Gonzo ended up in a local shelter, who notified IAR (the backup contact from his microchip).
